TPA Event-Mails: terms and conditions of use

Use of the Event-Mails published by TPA Steuerberatung GmbH (“TPA ”) is subject to the following terms and conditions (“conditions”).
If the user has not already explicitly accepted the terms and conditions elsewhere, by using the Event-Mails the user agrees to accept them. Unless the user agrees to accept the conditions, the user is expressly forbidden to make further use of the Event-Mails.

TPA makes the Event-Mails available to the user free of charge for the user’s own information. TPA can not guarantee the completeness, accuracy and currency of the information contained in the Event-Mails, and can accept no responsibility in this respect.

TPA has no control over the contents or the presentation of any linked internet materials and accepts no responsibility for any such contents. TPA accepts no responsibility for the correctness, completeness and currency of linked internet materials.

The texts, images, graphics, video and other materials contained in the Event-Mails are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights: no part of these materials may be transmitted to third parties, reproduced or otherwise processed without the express, written permission of TPA .

All legal disputes and proceedings in connection with the use of these Event-Mails are subject to Austrian substantive law exclusively.

The competent court for all legal disputes and proceedings arising directly or indirectly out of the use of the Event-Mails shall be the competent local Austrian court responsible for the First District of Vienna, Austria. For consumers in the meaning of the Austrian Consumer Protection Act (KSchG), this applies only to the extent that they are neither resident nor ordinarily resident nor employed in Austria.

The user hereby agrees that information supplied by the user may be used, processed and stored for the purposes of internal market research and marketing. This information will be used by TPA for the purpose of complying with statutory regulations, in payments transactions and for advertising purposes. The user hereby also agrees to being sent advertising material by TPA. This authorisation can be withdrawn at any time by e-mail to service@tpa-group.at.

During use of the Event-Mails, data and information of general interest (usage data, download data for particular documents, users’ countries of origin) are collected for statistical purposes. These statistics are used to enable the Event-Mails to be more closely adapted to users’ requirements. Users’ personal information is not collected for these purposes, and can not be derived from the statistics. TPA is entitled to pass on the statistics to third parties.

Cookies are used to increase the Event-Mails’ convenience of use: the user must explicitly agree to their use. The user is free to set the browser to ask before accepting cookies, or not to accept them at all. Not accepting cookies may prevent or limit the user’s use of the Event-Mails.
